What is FlexiCell?
FlexiCell is our very own rechargeable lighting brand, created to give you beautiful, wire-free lighting that works with your life. A replaceable, rechargeable battery cell that swaps between products in seconds, so one battery can power your table lamp, your wall light, your bathroom mirror, and more. Most cordless lamps have a built-in battery that eventually wears out, making the whole product feel disposable and that’s why Flexicell is different. When the battery needs replacing, you simply swap it out, and the old one can be recycled in any Dunelm store. It is a smarter, more sustainable way to light your home.

What's included in our rechargeable lighting range?
Our FlexiCell range has five product types, so there is something to suit every space:

How rechargeable lighting works?
The clever bit is the battery cell itself. It's compact, lightweight, and clicks in and out of any FlexiCell product. Here's the simple routine:
Charge up. Pop the battery on its included USB cable. A full charge takes around 4 hours and uses any standard USB socket.
Click in. The battery swaps in seconds between your table lamp, wall light, or any other FlexiCell product.
Light up. Touch the base to turn on. Cycle through three brightness levels to set the perfect ambience.
Recycle. When the battery eventually reaches end of life, return it to any Dunelm store for responsible recycling.

Because FlexiCell lights are portable, you can experiment with placement far more freely than traditional lamps allow. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Living room
The Geneva floor lamp was made for the living room, position it beside an armchair or sofa to create a cosy reading corner. FlexiCell battery, charging and care tips
On a full charge, FlexiCell lamps run for up to 10 hours at full brightness and considerably longer on lower dimmer settings. For most people, that's several evenings of use between charges. Buying a second battery (available separately) means you'll always have a fully charged one to hand.
Keep a spare battery charged. Extra FlexiCell batteries are available separately. Having a spare means you can swap in a fresh one at any time, perfect for long evenings or hosting.
Any USB socket works. The cable uses a standard USB connection. A phone charger, laptop, or USB plug all work. The plug adaptor isn't included, but you almost certainly have one.
Dim down to extend battery life. At the lowest brightness, your lamp will run significantly longer than 10 hours. Perfect for a bedside lamp you leave on low all evening.
Recycle in any Dunelm store. When the battery is at end of life, bring it into any Dunelm store for responsible recycling. It's quick, free, and the right thing to do.
Easy to clean. Wipe down the lamp base with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners and never submerge any part of the product in water.

Can I use one battery across multiple FlexiCell products?
Absolutely, that's the beauty of the range. The same FlexiCell battery works across all FlexiCell products, including future launches. Move it between a table lamp, wall light, and floor lamp without needing multiple chargers.
What happens when the battery eventually wears out?
Unlike most cordless lamps with a built-in battery, FlexiCell uses a replaceable cell, so you simply buy a replacement rather than a whole new lamp. Old batteries can be returned and recycled at any Dunelm store
Are the rechargeable lights child-friendly?
